Terms of service
Draft written from the product's facts. The owner approves it before the first production deploy; items marked [TBD] are still open.
These terms govern your organisation's use of Mailtender, the service at mailtender.net. By creating an account you accept them on behalf of your organisation.
The agreement
The agreement is between Mailtender, operated by [legal entity — TBD], and the organisation that creates the account. The person who accepts these terms confirms they may act for that organisation. Questions go to hello@mailtender.net.
The beta
Mailtender is in beta. There is nothing to pay during the beta; plan limits apply. Features may change, and we tell account owners before a change that affects their organisation. We will announce the end of the beta and publish prices before any charge.
Your account
- Keep sign-in details and API keys secret, and turn on two-factor authentication.
- Owners and admins decide who belongs to the organisation and what each person may see.
- Tell us at security@mailtender.net if you think an account or a key was misused.
Your content
Your mail, your agents' replies and your settings belong to your organisation. We process them only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy. Mailtender never sends your mail to an AI model.
Agents and the send gate
You bring your own agent and you are responsible for what it proposes. Mailtender enforces the hard rules on every agent reply — an agent can only reply inside an existing thread, to people already on it — and applies the modes, policy rules and approvals your organisation sets. Those controls reduce risk; they do not replace your own decisions about what your agent may do.
Acceptable use
- No unsolicited bulk or marketing email, and no mail to addresses that did not ask to hear from you.
- No phishing, malware, or mail that impersonates someone else.
- No attempts to get around the send gate, sending limits or another customer's data.
We may pause outbound mail for an organisation that breaks these rules or harms the reputation of our sending infrastructure, and we will tell its owners why.
Plans and payment
Each plan sets limits on seats, agents, mailboxes, agent replies and storage, shown on the pricing page. When charging starts, checkout and invoices run on Polar's hosted pages. [Refunds and taxes — TBD]
Ending the service
You can close your organisation's account at any time. We may end the service for an organisation that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Before your data is deleted you can export it; [deletion period after closure — TBD].
Liability
[Warranty, limitation of liability and governing law — TBD.]
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we update the date at the top of the page and tell account owners by email before a change that affects them takes effect.
